How to Create a Belly Cast

Prepare your supplies.  Cut strips into various length.  Longer for the center of the belly, medium for top and bottom of belly and smaller for the breasts.

Dip strips in water for 3-4  seconds (too too much longer and the plaster will dilute). Hold onto both ends of the strip and avoid twisting and overlapping.

Sitting on the edge of a chair is best.  Apply strips in a slightly overlapping pattern.  Smooth strips as you go along.

Towards the very end of the process, you may choose to stand to secure the area under the belly.

The casting is dry and ready to be removed when it begins to separate from the body and makes a knocking sound when tapped.
