Making the Mold: The molding material is nontoxic and non allergenic and wiggling is not a problem as long as your child's foot or hand remains submerged in the molding material until it sets. The set time is 2-3 minutes, which includes the mixing time. See the product FAQs page for further details on how the material captures a detailed mold.

Container Size: The total height of the container is 5 inches, the opening is 4.5 inches in diameter and it tapers down to 3.5 inches in diameter at the bottom. For adults and children 6 yrs and up, the Trophy Hands Kit is available. As a comparison, the (unfinished) hand casting shown is that of a 5 1/2 year old child and there was just a little room to spare.
 Included: 1 bag of molding powder, 1 bag of casting stone, molding container, clear finish, sandpaper, demolding stick, detailing pin and complete instructions.
Other items you will need (not included): mixing bowl, rubber spatula and liquid measuring cup
Note on casting pets: (1) The molding material does not generally stick to fur. (2) In addition to the directions included with the kit, we sugguest inserting the paw, rotating the cup about 1/2 turn and then pulling it up about 1/2 inch. This will help get the fur going in the "right" direction and to reduce air pockets.
