Making the Mold: The molding material is cool setting, nontoxic and non allergenic. Wiggling is not a problem as long as your child's foot or hand remains submerged in the molding material until it sets. [See the product FAQs page for further details on how the material captures a detailed mold.] The wax can then be prepared and poured into the mold.

No special equipment needed to melt the wax! The wax comes in a ready-to-melt bag and all you need is a pan of hot water and a little bit of your time. Neither your pan nor your child ever come into contact with the wax.

Coloring the Wax: The kit contains 3 wax chips in the primary colors of red, blue and yellow so you will be able mix virtually any color you choose. Or, leave it white by adding no coloring at all. General color mixing info is also included in kit.

Items Included: 1 bag of molding powder, 1 lg pack of pre-blended paraffin wax in a ready to melt bag, 1 molding cup, 3 color chips (red, yellow, blue), pan clip, demolding stick, detailing pick and complete instructions.

Other items you will need (not included): medium-sized sauce pan and water, stove top to heat the water in the pan & liquid measuring cup [A cooking thermometer is also helpful, but not necessary.]

Container Size: The total height of the container is 5 inches, the opening is 4.5 inches in diameter and it tapers down to 3.5 inches in diameter at the bottom.
